It was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my lifetime. The twin otter plane that I boarded glided through the narrow canyon as if the wing may touch the hill on either side. The pilot announced that we are landing shortly but I couldn’t get the sight of the runway.
As the plane landed in the small airstrip with the uphill runway, I gasped and at the same time relieved. It was truly exciting experience.

One of the major highlight of the trip is that reaching the Everest Base Camp (5364 m). It was my top priority list on the bucket list of the things to do in my life. Therefore, it was exciting. The sight of the foothill of the world’s tallest mountain Mt. Everest is truly blissful. Moreover, interacting with the climbers stationed in the base camp to climb the mountain was another fruitful experience.
The early morning hike to Kalapathar for the sunrise view was the most momentous. I could clearly see the Mt. Everest top brightened by the ray of morning sun. It was one of the most remarkable sights of my life.
